Letica Drive Trailhead
Letica Drive Trailhead offers a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot, making it accessible for all visitors. It is a great spot for various activities including biking, birdwatching, hiking, jogging, and walking with dogs allowed both on and off leash outside. The trails vary in difficulty and are kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for families and nature lovers. Despite some concerns about trail maintenance, it remains a peaceful and well-maintained area for outdoor enjoyment.

Clean and well maintained trail, quiet and safe path.
Years of neglect from the city and no surprise it is gone. You could see where it was deteriorating for years up by dequindre and it just kept getting worse until the flood gates open and destroyed it.
Hopefully when and if they fix the trail it will get paved. The crushed limestone simply won’t work on the terrain unless they want the same thing to happen years down the line.
Too bad, some of the most beautiful scenery in metro Detroit along that stretch of the trail.
Did a little fishing here, caught a few small fish and explored the river. Will come back and try again.
Our go to place for daily evening walk. There are so many trail heads to pick from. Our favorite is 2nd street, Rochester.
A great place for the traveler to rejuvenate and reconnect with nature.
I would recommend heading east first if a long bike ride is desired, then passing the parking lot and riding west for a bit before returning to this trail access point & parking lot.
