I have been coming here my whole life. This park is absolutely amazing and fun to walk. There are a few grass paths as well as gravel paths. Walk through the woods, hang out by the pond or the boardwalk by the swamp. There is a playground with swings, play structure, see-saw, and more. I got to see the control burn this time, pretty cool.

Do NOT come here. It is a hidden gem and we want to keep it for ourselves. Wildflowers and nature, incredibly clean facilities. Could use work on some of the signage and boardwalks but my dog doesn’t seem to mind.

What a pleasant surprise of a park, very nice. There is a covered cookout area with six benches, a charcoal grill, a clearing area for picnics and some restrooms (although these appear temporarily closed). The most pleasant part of the park is an extensive set of trails back in the forest, including a small pond with seating. The pond had turtles, frogs and was a good spot to look for birds. The trail system included several style trails, including bike path quality, mowed paths and rough walking paths. Overall this is a great park, which we plan to return to sometime soon. Nice park for a walk even in the early spring/late fall.

It’s nice. Lots of different paths. But make sure you wear bug spray! There were a lot of bugs, and I had a few ticks jump onto me as well. Really nice place though.

This is a nice place to walk and clear your mind. The hills are a nice change from the relatively flat terrain of the area. The paths are well laid and easy to walk upon. There are restrooms available at the park’s entrance. There’s a nice playground area for the kids and there’s a big field next to the playground to have a picnic or to exercise your dog(s). Bear Creek is a nice spot.
