Plenty of trails for bike and walking. There’s a lot of staircases too. So that definitely makes for a good workout. It’s really pretty here too. We came back multiple times to see all the different trails. I love this place. 👍👍

Bloomer Park is majestic area that I visit about twice a month to escape into the wilderness and enjoy barbecues with friends. It’s a great family-friendly environment, offering a safe and absolutely gorgeous setting. Whether you’re exploring the trails or grilling with loved ones, the park provides a perfect backdrop for relaxation and fun.

The pavilion our group had an event at was nice. The concrete looked pretty new or at least well maintained. It had a fireplace which was a cool feature. Nice that there were plenty of picnic tables, a kids playground area, trails to enjoy & well maintained grounds. The park staff kept the trashes empty & bathrooms clean. A nice place to host an outdoor event!

My family and I went to Bloomer Park for their recent, Fossils and Riverside Campfire event (cost was NULL per person). We had a great time. It was our first visit to this city park, and I was happy to see it was nicely maintained. We only stayed and hiked through a small section of the park, but it was very clean, bathrooms were available, there was a playground for kids, small grills in sections, bike repair areas could be found, and the trails had been recently upkept. The paths we followed were simple and good for families, although I would not recommend dragging a wagon or anything like that with you. There were easy to hike sections, as well as smaller, more off-road trails perfect for those that enjoy mountain biking. There was plenty of wildlife around to view, wooden bridges for crossing streams and marshy areas, and beautiful areas to relax near the Clinton River. It was honestly a great outing, and we’ll definitely be back.

Bloomer Park is a beautiful outdoor space that offers a peaceful escape into nature. With tons of well-maintained trails, it’s a haven for hikers, bikers, and nature lovers alike. Whether you’re looking for a brisk walk, a scenic run, or a challenging bike ride, the park has something for everyone. The trails wind through wooded areas, gentle hills, and open spaces, offering a variety of views and experiences. The upkeep is impressive — clean paths, clear signage, and plenty of benches and rest spots along the way.

During our visit, we also took a short trip over to Yates Cider Mill, which is conveniently located nearby. It was a lovely complement to our day at the park. Yates has a welcoming atmosphere, delicious doughnuts and cider, and friendly staff. The combination of a scenic hike and a sweet treat made the whole outing feel complete.

Bloomer Park is perfect for a day trip, a weekend hike, or just some quiet time in nature. Whether you’re exploring solo or with friends and family, the peaceful surroundings and quality trail systems make it a spot you’ll want to come back to again and again. A true local gem!
