Ask for an even- numbered room, on the side of the building away from the Garden State Parkway.
At this price point, you’re getting a lot for your $. Good value.

Additionally, the room is tatty, the whole hotel needs a total remodeling and everywhere smells of cigarettes. You can’t get into the building without walking through a wall of smokers. In the room there is a tea maker in the bathroom which is weird and there are three cups and three lids. The second lid was filthy with some red substance on it, quite disgusting actually. I did appreciate the way my towels were folded but no tip because my cup lids were filthy, see photos.

Breakfast was good also but I was disappointed that there was no waffle-maker. Desk staff was kind and professional and the establishment was tidy. As a note,some people may not think kindly of the coffee maker being in the bathroom. Or doesn’t bother me because I’ve seen that before but my wife thought it disgusting. Just something to consider concerning placement. Otherwise,we enjoyed our stay, especially with El Asadero next door. We will return killing the future.
