Very nice park. We enjoyed the covered pavillion and the historic marker was so informative.

2 stars because it was clean. But I wish they’d update the park some more. Took my 19 month old and 2 of my nieces. There was no baby swings. Some of the equipment that sits there has been there since I was little. Some of the slides have rust on them which could potentially be dangerous if one were to cut themselves. There’s two Mary go rounds one is crooked and the rails are really rusted was scared I’d cut myself trying to spin my nieces on it and didn’t make it to the other one. There’s 3 slides by the baseball fields? And one little play area where the basketball court is which is just 4 slides? If I remember correctly. A bunch of slides. 🙃 and there was like 3 swings and a tire swing. That park has potential wish Robstown would invest in it some more. Maybe add more swings. BABY swings. Take out the RUSTED equipment. The CROOKED Mary go round. The animal seesaw thing that has been there since I was a kid. Used to have I think 4 or 5 animals on it now it only has 2 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ just get rid of it and replace it with something new. Jeez.

I have personally been to this park multiple times and the reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is because it lacks variety. The basketball court can use new hoops, could add a skatepark, more plants, trees, larger playground etc. On the bright side it is a good place to go on walks and to walk your dog.
