Great for jogging or walking. On the other side it’s great for the kids. They even got two baseball fields back here and the little playground. Not to mention the little obstacle course type deal they have going on to do push-ups sit-ups lunges, pull-ups etc.

It’s a really big park with lots to do. The kids can play on a lot of different equipment. There are multiple and long running tracks. Plus there are baseball fields, picnic tables and a pavilion with kinda gross bathrooms. If you take your dog, however, don’t let them off the path. There’s tons of stickers that get in their fur. Also I am not happy that Nueces County parks don’t allow any bikes or skateboards on the sidewalks. My kids like to do that and there are a distinct lack of good sidewalks in the area. There are also lots of unused and unusable areas in the park.

Me and my kids are always willing to go to the park and play some ball. The park is huge over two miles of track to exercise and a pond to feed ducks and look at turtles

Lots of good paved areas to walk, run or bike. Fields to run around in, play area for kids… only problems I’ve seen are a lot of fire ants and holes in the grassy areas. Nice benches and tables with shady areas to hang out.

Pet and family friendly ..kids like to see the ducks and turtles and Mia loves to run around. Only negative are the pot holes entering the parking lot.
