Host rides around on a cart harassing people for no reason. Locals are not friendly, trails and overlooks are overgrown, little to no reception even for gps. There were houses everywhere on the water when it said it was undeveloped, liars. Water was dirty and high tension power lines stretch out across the lake. Decided not to stay…No stars if it was an option. Did not see any wildlife other than the primitive natives and locals.

what a great hidden gem such a beautiful place to stay for a few days the host made us feel very welcome and was very helpful answering questions and making local recommendations

Tight quarters with a 35 foot fifth wheel. And sites are more like buddy sites, one neighbor is only a few feet away. But let’s face it, we’re not here to hang at the camper! We’re here for the Motorcycle rides and hikes!

Great spot at the end of the dragons tail. Privacy is lacking but the location makes up for it.

We spent a week here and had an amazing time. Very close to some great hikes and gorgeous views! Only a short jaunt to Robbinsville where they have a grocery store for supplies. If you stay here spots 14-17 are the prime spots ,for sure, and would be well worth the walk in to those tent sites. The camp host was very nice and made us feel welcome. If we ever get back to NC we will definitely stay here again!
