Very nice park. Free or NULL for residents of River Rouge. NULL for others… But honestly it’s not so strictly enforced. Nice swinging chairs, a couple binoculars that you can use for .50¢ and lots of area with grass.. plenty of room for fishing.
First time going to this park. The man at the gate was very pleasant. There is a
NULL.00 fee if you are not a resident of River Rouge. They have a boat launch there. It was nice to be able to see the new Gordie
Howe Bridge from the park. Has a nice play area and rest rooms there. Also has porta potties as well. Nice park with benchs to sit on. Great place to watch the freighters go by.
Beautiful little park. Very cold in winter
A nice park to go fishing ,launch your boat or have a picnic. They have plenty of porta potties. They have a playground area with swings and a slide. They also have adult swings.
It’s a park under construction in Summer, 2024. It looks to be very nice with the picnic tables and playground equipment being installed. The industrial surroundings are not park-like at all but do give this place a unique vibe. It’s interesting to be up so close to an old steel mill and power plant.
Views of the skyline are blocked a bit by the new bridge, but both are interesting to see.
