Its small and simple. But price is a little better than the other waterparks. Just enough to entertain the kids.
Big fans of West Gate River Ranch, and they did what they needed to do for summer fun in the Florida heat. However for their grand opening being last Monday, And being open for a few months already. We arrived early at 10:45 and we getting towels and wrist bands by 11 am. And to our surprise for a family of 5. There was no chaise lounges or dining chairs available. This was horrible. Somehow the home owners or guests can get in at 10 am and put towels on all the chaises.Trust me we are locals to RR and have been eagerly awaiting this only to have an upset family with no place to sit or put our stuff so we could go any enjoy the water.The staff says management is aware but they deal with this problem almost daily as they can allow 450 guests but only have 200-250 seats….So I’ll adjust my review once they get more seating. Truly sad to watch them continue to allow guests to enter and enter with no where to sit.The bar and staff was great. However the food truck they also mis calculated and should have gotten a bigger food truck as it can’t handle the noon rush for lunch and food took forever for a smash burger and tenders..Overall this is the best additional to west gate river ranch but their learning curve hasn’t been corrected after 2-3 months of operation.That is a direct reflection on management and the executive team.
River Ranch Water Park pool was very clean & refreshing. Lifeguards do a great job watching every inch of the pool. They never sit down. Always watching so you can relax when small children are swimming. Kids loved the slide. The food & drinks were a bit expensive. We planned to take our own but didn’t have time to prepare. Next time we will. Hotel doesn’t have ice machines so you have to go to the General Store. High prices in the store as well. Love the water park but go prepared. We met a young man, Sammy, that worked there. He has several different jobs at River Ranch so we saw him in different areas. He was extremely nice & helpful. Hopefully, he will be there the next time we visit. On the way out we stopped at the petting area. They have lots of different animals & even pony rides. Kids had a great time. Highly recommend!
This water park is incredible! The family had a wonderful time, the slide lines weren’t long, the food and drink had great prices and were all delicious…make sure to try the smash burger! Loved the Cabanas and so affordable. We came for the weekend and were really happy that the water park was included in our resort fees so it didn’t even cost us anything additional.We can wait to come back!!
