Dog Park at The Rez

Dog Park at The Rez is a welcoming, wheelchair-accessible dog park located in Ridgeland, MS. It offers separate large and small dog areas, picnic tables, benches, and a water fixture for dogs to cool off. The park features shaded spots and a friendly community of dog owners who support and share experiences, making it ideal for both dogs and their families. While some pine trees have been lost recently, the park remains a good space for dogs to run and socialize, with hiking trails and facilities that accommodate children as well.

Plenty of shade and benches to sit on. A water fixture for dogs to play in would be nice. Especially on hot days. It just opened a few weeks ago so I imagine more fixtures will be added.
Sadly this April, most all of the pines in the dog park were cut down due to, from what I’ve read, beetle infestation. As you can imagine, now the dog park is a hotter and muddier slope of land, and extremely unattractive.
I was a little intimidated bc I am a first-time dog parent. My chiweenie barks at everyone and thing. But the dog parents were very understanding and welcoming. They gave me some really God info on dog training and what to expect. We shared some great stories. I was surprised at how comfortable I was with other dogs. Talk about growth.
Good space for the dogs to run. Water there. Benches for the humans to sit in. They have a big and small section. Overall, this park is good. Wish it had more obstacles for the dogs to play on
This place is so beautiful. Brought my dog here. We came all the way from the Delta. I wouldn’t mind living here. Keep bugging my mom about it 😊 The people at the dog park were very welcoming too.
