Nestled in a scenic, wooded area, the Ridgefield Walking Trail is a popular spot for dog-friendly hikes and leisurely walks in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The park features a beautiful, paved, U-shaped trail that meanders through the woods and along a stream, offering an easy and relaxing stroll for dog owners and their furry companions. With its flat terrain, the path is suitable for walkers, joggers, families, and, of course, pets looking for fresh air and exercise.
This pet-friendly trail is known for its convenient parking, scenic nature views, and abundant shade provided by the mature forest canopy. There’s also a small playground nearby, making it a great destination for families. While the trail is easy to follow, cell service can be spotty, so snapping a photo of the trail map at the entrance is recommended for a hassle-free experience.
