MOT is a great walking/cycling trail that is well maintained. There are infrequent road crossings which make this an excellent trail for long rides.
A nice long round trip
The “end” of the Macomb Orchard Trail. We like to start our ride here though since it’s much closer to us and direction doesn’t matter. There’s plenty of parking at the high school across the street and a pavilion with bathrooms here as well. Beautiful trail that runs for 23 miles through Armada and Romeo and begins near Stony Creek.
Well maintained trail for walking or biking that goes through towns and Open Fields. Straight and flat overall. Blacktop and wide. I’ve done a 30 mile round trip but you can do much less and much more if you choose. If you start in Richmond as we did, there is rarely any worry about parking and there are restrooms at the beginning of the trail
Very peaceful trail goes on for miles and miles. Places to stop and enjoy the scenery along the way friendly people on the trail always move over and allow others to go through
