FAQ for Off-Leash Dog Area in Richfield Minnesota:
It’s not all grass and it’s smaller than the one in Bloomington which was ok. It had mulch and sand. They have up/down, and crawl through activities which was great. I also met some other pet owners. My baby had fun, but he ripped his 2 front paw pads because of the ground verses grass. Other than that if you like a not so big place, with ground, mulch, and grass this is your place.
This dog park has lots of space so even with a dozen large sized dogs, there’s plenty of room for everyone to run around. I like that there’s a picnic table under a couple of big trees so it’s a shady spot to sit down and watch my Ryker play and chase the other dogs. There’s also a few other chairs along with some agility equipment. Next time we’re there I’ll try to remember to take pictures of the park to share…*Little dogs beware of the deep hole that had been dug by the other dogs.
Park for good pups and dogs.
My Dog always barking at my face on wanting to go to Roosevelt Park Dog Park to playing with other dogs off leash.
2 problems i have are some people dont pick up their dogs poop and i wish there was grass instead of wood chips. I like it cause its close to home and lots of space for my dog to run. Also great way for him to socialize with other dogs
