I’m always looking for places to walk my girls. I saw this lake in Google Maps and decided to check it out. I parked on the street, and walked over. The distance around the lake is about 0.65 miles. The view of the lake along the trail is nice, but depending on where you are. As you walk closer to Fairfax county parkway, the view is not great at all. I like that the trail is paved. There is a gazebo with a boat launch. Keep an eye out for some geese, turtles and birds. The fenced in dog play area is equipped with some agility equipment and the kids playground is located right next to it. It’s a great set up if you have kids and dogs.
