Although the trail section we were on (nassau lake) was very well maintained, it is very open and no shade at all on a very hot day. We cut our ride short since it was so hot. I would not recommend bring dogs on the trail due to hot pavement
Also not much to see, most of that section just was alongside of the road. Again, I was only on a small section to be fair.
