Good fishing and calm, peaceful and relaxing
First time to fish the Hiwassee in 2017. Went by myself, arrived at the river at 7am and fished until the water came up at Tower around 11am. I caught around 22 Bows all 12″ to 14″. I hope to fish it several more times between now and the first of the year.
Beautiful and peaceful!
I see all these old reviews from back when the fishing was great. Covid rolled in and the crowds tripled and the fishing tanked. I’m just glad I got to fish it for years when it was great. The Towee toilet was much appreciated many times!
Beautiful place, gorgeous water! Good fishing. Right up the road from Big Bend.
