Clemmer Trailhead
Clemmer Trailhead is a scenic outdoor area located along Tennessee State Route 30 in Reliance, TN. While primarily known as a trailhead, it offers open space where dogs can enjoy nature, although specific amenities for dog parks such as fencing or separate dog areas are not detailed.

Parked here to hike to Rainbow falls although the sign said Rock Creek Falls. Was about 3 miles out and back and was a pretty easy hike.
A little more moderate of a trail compared to the Benton Falls trail from the day use parking area. Trail is well marked, mostly clear. There are some rocky areas and tree roots. As others have said, be ready to get your feet wet. I missed out on the 3rd water fall as the trail up the rocks to it isn’t marked or well traveled. I’ll definitely be back to find again though. I always feel dorky using my hiking poles…but I’m glad I had them this morning.
Edit: went back today and found the 3rd waterfall. It was less of a hike, and more of a scramble to get to it. The last photo shows the rocky climb you’ll need to get up to the 3rd waterfall. Definitely worth the effort.
9/6/2021 We spent a few hours on the trail to Rainbow Falls. It was absolutely beautiful! At the first waterfall we met some nice gentlemen who encouraged us to go up and over the path to the other side to get to the bigger waterfall. It was difficult and slippery, but so worth it! We had a great time! Be sure to wear good hiking shoes/boots, bring a snack or picnic, and plan to get your feet wet as you will cross the river twice.
Amazing trail. We did the loop and it was listed as Hard and it was with challenging terrain, several stream crossings (one calf deep) and relentless incline. Well worth the view at the top and the Benton Waterfall was fantastic!
This out and back hike is one of our favorites! It leads to at least three waterfalls (although there could be more we have not explored?)
The first two are very noticeable. However, if you are able to hike up and around the first two, the final waterfall is amazing and the best of all 3 and has a pool of water that you can swim in.
Two river crossings on the way to the first two waterfalls and a final river crossing once you get back to the largest waterfall.
This is a great hike to explore! Highly recommend this! No bathrooms on the trail or at the trailhead. Make sure you pack in and pack out anything you bring!
