We LOVE these trails! They are more extensive then you think and well maintained.
cute little nature trail with a hidden fairy 🧚🏽♂️ forest! lol. i had to park at the library. waze led me to a neighborhood which didn’t seem right.
A nice unexpected find just off Reisterstown Road. A nice set of walking trails – not too easy to to notice if you”re not looking for them. The trails are fairly short, well maintained with tiny optional steep section. For such a small area, there’s plenty to discover.
I’ve included a rough map which shows access – be sure to do the whole big loop to see all the fun stuff.
These trails are bounded by Franklin Elementary School, Reisterstown Road, Glyndon Trace Drive. Access these from Glyndon Trace Drive – between the clubhouse and Teapot Court – there are two trail heads there. Other access points include the NW corner of the parking lot behind Reisterstown United Methodist Church and behind Franklin Elementary School – both the SE corner and SW corner have an access point.
A fantastic local spot for solo walkers, couples, and families. Plenty to see, hear and do, while connecting with nature. Trails are well marked. There are several things to engage young explorers including a story trail, natural playground, “fairy forest”, and more. A local gem, hidden among the bustling neighborhood.
