Stulsaft Park is a beloved dog park in Redwood City, California, known for its spacious, pet-friendly trails and scenic forested setting. Popular with local dog owners, this park offers a large off-leash area where dogs can roam freely, play with other pups, and even splash in creek streams for a cooling adventure. With a network of engaging hiking trails, including both flat and challenging routes, Stulsaft Park is perfect for both leisurely strolls and more energetic outings with your dog.
The park caters to families as well, featuring a playground, picnic tables, and a peaceful environment. While parking is limited—especially near the playground—street parking is available. Owners are encouraged to bring their own water and be prepared for potentially muddy dogs after fun in the creeks! Stulsaft Park is a true pet paradise for those seeking dog-friendly hiking and outdoor fun in Redwood City.
Nice hike that loops around. Takes about 45 minutes. Certain parts a little steep but nothing most people can’t handle. Part of the trail your dog can go off-leash.
Just went for play ground, very limited parking just along the somewhat busy street at 35 mph speed limits. Very sun exposed, so structures are hot to touch. Spray area does not run between 12 and 2 pm but also shuts down at 6 pm like the other parks.
Very unique park with dog off leashing area that features good foresty hiking paths, and more importantly streams! The dogs went nuts in this place, basically non stop zoomies since we stepped in. My little bratty princess of a husky took her sweet time to walk toward the exit and eventually squatted at the exit, refusing to leave. Strongly recommend taking your dog straight to grooming / hose down right after.
Great place for dog walks. There is a section for off lease as well. It is 112 mile loop but very scenic while being close to the residences
This park is in the neighborhood, the parking lot near the playground is limited. You may choose to park along the street. The playground is small and fun. Besides, there are several routes for hiking, flat or bumpy, high or low with creeks flowing across a trail. It is a friendly “dog park” in some trails. I bet dogs have so much fun here~ We met two kids, a resident, sell homemade lemonade at the entrance of the playground. Unfortunately, we don’t have small changes to buy it. But, they are so nice to offer my daughter a cup of cool lemonade for free. Really appreciate it! Next time we will prepare some small changes to support the kids. Recommend this park!
