This is a great public park. Well maintained and clean!! I visit it every time we go to see my mother in law.
This park is great. The playground is on the smaller side, but it has obstacles that can entertain children of almost any age. The “mulch” is pieces of rubber which I appreciate because it doesn’t hurt like regular wood mulch. I also like the amount of grassy area around and that there is ample seating with views of the playground. The only issue I have is that some playthings had been removed at some point and there is still pieces of it sticking up from the ground. There is some bright fencing around it to make people aware, but I still feel that it is not entirely safe, in case a child would accidentally trip into it. If this were to be removed I would easily change my rating to 5 stars.
I had family recenly move here and i nelive this needs to be said.Nice park to live i the people who live here are very nice and welcoming.Everyone looks out for one another so it is a very safe place to live.So when my family retiredand moved herebecause theu were looking for a community with age restrictions such as here. As I said the people who live here are wonderful. What my family failed to realize before moving in which came as a surprise to them is grass cutting and snow removal is not included in your fees when you live there that’s up to you to do. From what I understand since they have lived there and talking with other people who live in this community the lot rent goes up quite often another thing to keep in mind. I’m not down yet for those things but these we’re not told to them when they moved there and I just thought it needed to be put out there other than that it is a very wonderful community and I wouldn’t deter anybody from moving there. If I have more in the future I will update it. Or if you have any questions feel free to ask.
It’s small but well taken care of. Rubber chunks instead of wood chunks or mud. Modern equipment climbing areas for my climbing two-year-old. two baby swings three regular swings and 1 handicap swing.
I never would have truly appreciated this local park had I not been babysitting a toddler. The accessible playground area is very well-maintained and has a lot to offer. The harder part was leaving!
