I really love this park. The trails are so beautiful and easy to walk through even with small children. It’s also very educational. Lots of schools have field trips here. Today I discovered a small book stand, almost like a book swap. I’m sure you can bring books and just leave them there for others to enjoy or just take one and go sit in a field and enjoy a nice read. What a wonderful idea! On weekends there is lots going on, they had a food truck and other stands selling organic homeade lotions and other products. They even had a beer stand! And the prices were nice as well, NULL & NULL beers. The food truck even had hummus! There were lots and lots of dogs and people in bikes. I did not see a playground. There are nice benches all around and really spaced out so you can have privacy.

Peaceful, extra ordinarily beautiful, the air there is clean fresh and at this time of year in the morning crisp. And if you’re nose is good you can pick up the different aroma of dents present their. But I personally recommend the place if you’re looking for peace of mind and heart.

I have been coming here since I was a child. Even though the lake is gone, the new attraction for the kids, new plants, bridge, and disc golf have kept us coming back. I love that my kids can make memories here, as I did as a child. Perfect for picnics or wandering in nature.

We had a good time at the Adult Geology Night at Berks Nature in Angelica Park on Feb 21st.
Learned about rock formation, movement, textures, had some snacks, did some rock identification(my favorite part 🤩 )

Learned how Neversink Mountain here is Reading, PA was formed and what type of minerals and stones it’s made of.

Definitely check out Berks Nature they are a non-profit organization with so much knowledge and many activities to offer for all ages. We will definitely be back

I thoroughly enjoyed myself 💯! I enjoyed the story walk even though I’m an adult…I discovered that they have a little library book box for all ages, so I know where to donate my overstock. A staff member gave me a strawberry 🍓 from their garden & it was the BEST! Way better than what I’ve been purchasing at the market & now I’m interested in purchasing directly from a farmer. I haven’t been here since I was a child & it was a great return. Nature, books & fresh air is for everyone..enjoy it!
