It’s a beautiful walk along the stream. We didn’t have time to explore the whole park before dark. It’s a quiet, classic American city.
Very nice park, boardwalk to walk or ride on though the woods. creek access to cool down in
A beautiful well kept path along the river. Plenty of easy walking that goes threw a quaint wooded area with a over look of the river. Nice okay area for the kids, a rather long side any kid or kid at heart would enjoy, a covered gazebo with a nice view of the park. There is a small little free library here, pavilion, bathroom and a lovely observation area with wooden tables overlooking the river and a water mill! Wheelchair friendly, pets on a leash and easy access to this hidden gem! A hand down must see spot the whole family would enjoy!
Beautiful place to take the kids to play! There’s a pavilion where you can sit down and eat. I saw a couple trails leading into the trees around the park. Also the restrooms seem to be open, but I haven’t had to use them yet.
Visited Thatcher Park in Ravenna with my three kids and we had a great time. The park was very clean and clearly well maintained—the lawn was freshly cut, flowers were blooming, and everything looked cared for. The walking trail was shady and peaceful, and even the area down by the creek was clean and nice.
We didn’t use the picnic tables, but they looked clean and in good condition. The playground was also well kept and a hit with the kids, especially the hill slide. There were bathrooms available (we didn’t use them), and parking was totally fine. Best part? It was super quiet—we didn’t see anyone else there while we were visiting. A peaceful little spot we’ll definitely be returning to!
