Central Park Dog Park is a top choice for dog owners in Rancho Cucamonga, California, offering a spacious, clean environment for your furry friends. With designated areas for both small and large dogs, owners can relax while their pets socialize and exercise off-leash. The well-maintained park boasts beautiful mountain views, making every visit not just fun for dogs but also pleasant for owners. Ample parking is available, and the park’s layout was truly designed with dogs in mind.
Visitors appreciate the friendly community and the always-functioning water fountains for pets. While there isn’t much natural shade yet and no restrooms or lighting at night, shaded seating is provided, and the park remains a popular spot from sunrise to late hours. The absence of trash and the quick maintenance response are highlights, though patrons are encouraged to pick up after their pets to keep the park enjoyable for all. If you are searching for a welcoming dog park in Rancho Cucamonga with areas for both big and small dogs, Central Park Dog Park is a must-visit!
I want to say very nice dog park. Alot more people than Uplands dog Park. My dogs enjoyed it but mot their park of choice
I live in the area so this is my community dog park. I was so excited when this dog park was finally completed. I am grateful for it, but I also feel like the design of the park was really with the dogs in mind.
There is literally no shade. Even the awning over the benches has paw shaped holes in it. It will take years for the trees that are there to mature. Considering it gets so hot in our area I really don’t understand why they did not include more shade in this park.
Also, there is always dog poop around. Now you could say this is the fault of the people that take their dogs there. But I think it also has to do with the cities upkeep of the park. Don’t get me wrong there’s no trash around. But there’s just so much dog poop inside the park.
There are also no bathrooms at this dog park the next comparable dog park to this is the Dairyland dog park in Eastvale. It’s very shaded (on the small dog side) and there is a bathroom and there’s lights at night.
That’s one more critique I have for this dog park is that there are no lights at night. Although the street lights at enough light. Another plus that I would give for the park is that the water fountains are always working. And when it was leaking, they took care of it right away.
Hopefully, in years to come, they will consider adding more shade so the dog park is more dog and people friendly.
Also the hours of the dog park are late…you could take your dog there at sunrise if you wanted too. Another aspect of this park that is not dog friendly.
The best dog park in the IE! We love the multi playgrounds and how clean this place is.
This is an awesome dog 🐕 park for the community nice area for the dogs to run around exercise and play has a beautiful view of the mountains I pass by all the time when I wait for the bus on baseline and spruce
Nice and clean dog park. We have only been in the small dog’s area and it’s always nice. Lots of small and maybe some medium dogs but always friendly. We have also been in the large dog’s area when it was the only dog area open. That was a good mix of all dogs and also all were friendly. Parking is always good.
