This pet-friendly park offers plenty of wide open fields, paved walking trails, and peaceful surroundings—perfect for dog owners seeking a quiet escape. With its accessible entrance, spacious landscapes, and a variety of recreational options, it’s ideal for anyone looking to enjoy some quality time outdoors with their furry friend.
The park features amenities like picnic tables, restrooms, barbecue grills, and a nearby playground, making it a fantastic spot for the whole family. While not a dedicated dog park, dogs are allowed and you’ll see many locals walking or jogging the paved trails with their pets. The well-maintained environment, accessible facilities, and regular community events like group dog training classes make this park a favorite for both pet lovers and families in Raleigh.
Decent playground, nice big field to run around and trail around it for biking/walking/jogging. The playground equipment was a bit dirty on our visit, but nothing that prevented play. I wouldn’t recommend visiting on a hot, sunny day, as there is very little shade over the actual equipment. I appreciated that there were bathrooms next to the playground to wash up when we were done playing.
It’s a lovely, clean park in a tranquil neighborhood. People were strolling, jogging, and walking their dogs. It was a very peaceful park, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
An oasis in the middle of house developments. Beautiful views of either sunrises or sunsets. Peaceful walks! Perfect for bird watching! I love to see the trees blooming during the Spring.
The playground is designed for ages 2-5 with three slides and four swings (one you can swing with your little one). There are lots of different climbing walls and monkey bars. The playground is right next to a shelter/picnic area and bathrooms. There is a big open field and .47 paved walking trail where there always seems to be someone walking.
Great park! I went for the free group dog training class with Carolina Dog Coach that they do there every month. The park is spacious and beautiful. I’m looking forward to going back next month.
