Brier Creek Park is a community-favorite spot located at 9339 Bruckhaus St in Raleigh, NC. While it doesn’t feature a dedicated off-leash dog park, dogs are welcome, making it a convenient choice for pet owners seeking dog-friendly trails or leisurely strolls with their pets. The park features a paved loop trail of about 1 mile and plenty of grassy areas, making it an ideal place for casual dog walks and enjoying the outdoors with your canine companion.
The park is designed with accessibility in mind, offering wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, as well as family-friendly amenities including picnic tables, public restrooms, a playground, and recreational fields. Although Brier Creek Park is especially popular among families with toddlers thanks to its safe playground and open spaces, dog owners will appreciate the pet-friendly environment and the welcoming atmosphere for pets on-leash. Ample benches and shaded spots provide comfort for visitors, making it an excellent choice for a park outing in Raleigh.
A good ~1mile loop including basketball court area
Great park for toddlers. They also have a hiking trail around the playground that is easy enough for toddlers to ride a bike with.
Really cute park but not much to do. I would only recommend this park for toddlers. If you’re a walker or runner, this park would partially suit you. Overall, I felt really safe here with my child and he enjoyed himself.
Not bad for a small park. Perfect for a small child and there is a recreational field for older kids to play sports or run around also there is a page walking trail around the field. The playground equipment could use a good pressure washing though.
I love the little kids section of this park. My son is 20 months old and I get nervous taking him to other parks with the bigger equipment and him hurting himself but this park is perfect. He can run free without me helicoptering him cause the stuff is age appropriate. I have been here twice and it’s his new favorite spot ! There’s also a lot of nice flat grassy area for him to run around and benches and restroom close.
