Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
If you’re searching for a dog-friendly park in Puyallup, Clarks Creek Off-Leash Dog Park is a top choice for pet owners looking to unwind and let their dogs play. This park is well-maintained and features beautiful trails for both walking and hiking, some of which are paved for easy access, while others offer a more challenging adventure with steep, scenic dirt paths. Locals and visitors love its shaded spaces, picturesque creek and pond, and the abundance of benches and seating for relaxing while your dogs enjoy off-leash freedom.
The park’s fenced off-leash area uses wood chips and supplies amenities like poop bags, garbage cans, and benches. Dog owners appreciate the space for socializing, the familiar faces, and the welcoming local community. With three public restrooms around the trails and multiple places to sit and enjoy the environment, Clarks Creek is a regular go-to for play, hikes, and daily routines, rain or shine.
This park is very well maintained and the paths look great! It was raining when we went, and our senior dogs couldn’t stay long, but our girl dog did scrounge up a froggy! Should we find ourselves in the area again (we’re from out of state) we would definitely come back!
My go-to spots for walks, play, and hiking. 💗
Moving to the area so tried this dog park out. Been here twice and saw a lot of familiar faces. Both of my dogs are liking it. My male just wants to chase and be chased and he has found plenty of takers. My female doesn’t want anything to do with it but enjoys watching her brother run around and hanging out with me. We will be making this a part of our daily routine probably going 6:00-6:30 or so right when they open up.
At least there’s shade no water poop piles all up along fence wood chips a couple benches a garbage can poop bags all the trees around it so there’s no trees inside the fences overgrown but I consider that a good thing but yeah these wood chip Parks that’s not the way to go Went for a hangout in a walk around lots of dogs around lots of cool people and once again Google auto incorrect drives me insane
I know, another 5 star.. this place deserves it! Clean, three different bathrooms around the trails. Not very busy for a Sunday. The coolest part was venturing up some dirt trails that get very steep. At the top there are amazing views and beautiful old growth trees. It was about as tough of a hike as I’ve done in a while so stay on the paved trail if you aren’t comfortable with steep, narrow, dirt trails. The loop around the creek/pond is great with lots of places to sit, take pictures or go out on the docks.
