It’s closed until April. I camped at Brushie Prairie park close by. Does Google maps not realize that Brushie Prairie park exists? Yes, it is very close to Pecan Point park, but it’s to the left when you come to the fork in the road instead of to the right which would take you to Pecan Point park. Let’s see if this post leads to any improvement in Google maps. Are you paying attention Google?

The camping spots are okay but park does not actively enforce rules. We had a large group (5 tents, 6-7 vehicles), with unleashed dogs, generator with floodlights and loud music until at least midnight adjacent to our campsite.

Campgrounds were beautiful and fishing was great! The bathrooms and showers were unusable. So if you are camping in a RV you are good. Othewise it is a hard no.
