Alrighty. UPDATE July 2025. It has been open again for a bit. The area is pretty much the same. They are adding another tiny Pavillion aka picnic table roof, like the others in the big dog side. There are stairs leading to the gates, but it has been blocked off for months. No hand rails. If it is that much of a concern, they should have just put ramps in.
It was nice, as were the people, but it was small. I am use to the one we use to go to in MN where you could walk around, up and down hills, with your dog. Have to find one like that too.
I went the other day due to maintenance at my regular dog park. They have done some nice remodeling there, and the park is GREAT!!! The people, however, are the same. I’m not sure when aggressive, unsolicited advice became the new social norm, but I’m behind on a lot of these new behaviors. Some older gentlemen demanding to know whose dogs were fixed, and those that weren’t, he demanded that they leave. I hate to say it, but I’m not surprised. My very first experience at this park was like a trip to Karen-land. Kudos to whoever maintains these parks, they are beautiful! I’ll definitely be sticking to this side of the bridge
My beagle loves running and being chased by the other dogs. Clea (& we want to keep it that way, so watch your dog & pick up poop). Also use heartworm prevention and flea control/tick control. Rabies vaccine is required but DHLPP is highly recommended.
The best dog park around that we know of. We have been to Naples/Bonita springs, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and this one is paws down the cleanest. Unlike the others, the people pick up after their pups here. And there are usually a few pups around for ours to play with.
