Small but nice state beach. The stones in the water just past the sandy beach are a little painful to get past but once past them the bottom is sandy and soft.

Very nice little beach! Went on a sunny Sunday afternoon with a moderate amount of wind (~13 mph) and had a great time. Swimming was good – great wave height and frequency for playing. Water was around 65-70, nice and decent. Relatively shallow in the swimming area for a ways out -about 3.5 feet max. Sand was soft and lovely. As far as cons, it was crowded when we went, and there was not a lot of area to swim. Would’ve liked a larger beach area! But overall, I would recommend 🙂
