Took me sleuthing the maps to find this – but this is the DEC parking area for fishing access to Grindstone creek. There are some well maintained and trafficked trails here along the side of the creek where there is public fishing access. You can consult the DEC website for more information where there is access on both sides of the creek as you walk along it. Good spot to take a walk and do some photography or fish when the season and conditions are good!

The “Park” is just that. A place to park. After that it’s all raw trails and Grindstone Creek. Lots of great views. Excellent place for some nature photography.

This is just a place to park to access Grindstone Creek. There is a path that goes downhill close to the creek. It will get wet and muddy before you get to the water. It is pretty, but it is raw nature with no ramps or other amenities. It is private property so there is no camping.
We do get a few fisherman in the spring and the fall, I’ve been told that the Salmon spawn here.
