Beautiful fall colors, amazing rock formations, nice facilities, and a fun little cave to explore. We just hiked, but it also looks like a great place to rock climb!

A really fun hike especially this time of the season because of the spring run-off! Even with all the water rushing you’re still able to hike all the way without getting wet. If you take a right the Kyhv fork you can make it to a hill that has an amazing view of the back of Kyhv and Y mountain, as well as Cascade and Provo Peak.

Was really pretty, especially with all the changing colors. Starts off with paved and packed dirt and then changes to loose gravel. Hike is kind of steep especially more so in some areas. I would not recommend it for beginners. I only made it up to first bridge. It doesn’t help that I haven’t been hiking in a while and my sister took me the first morning after I got here, so not use to the elevation either.

One of my favorite easy hikes. The trail is well maintained and there are two drinking fountains along the way. There are 5 bridges that cross the creek along the way up. Occasionally a deer or two. I once had an encounter with a moose just past the Squaw Peak turnoff. Beware of rattlesnakes if you’re going off the beaten path.
