Beautiful scenery and river. Did some fishing with no luck. All good though. It was a nice place to walk. Until next year.

My go-to place to walk. Safe area overall. There are plenty of other people around. Things to watch for, I did see one snake where the path goes under Geneva Rd. Also, kids likely smoking MJ as I walked west of Geneva before the new park by Lakeside Dr.

We absolutely love the Provo River Trail! It’s our Sunday go to, especially on warm Sundays when we want to get out of the sun but be outside. The trees provide plenty of shade and it’s a great place to take kids on bikes, scooters, skateboards, bikes, or just a leisurely walk. There are no public bathrooms at this trailhead, but there are some at the next parking area about 1 mile ahead. This trail will eventually reconnect to Utah lake in 2024.

I like that this trail has a woodsy feel along the Provo River. It’s wide, allowing for traffic both directions and has a restroom near the trail which is convenient. There’s ducks everywhere and it’s a real treat in the spring to see all the ducklings.
