🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]

Memorial Park is a beautiful, well-kept dog park in Provo, Utah, offering plenty of open green space, tall trees for shade, and a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this park provides wide lawns perfect for frisbee, soccer, or simply relaxing with your pet. The shaded walking paths are ideal for dog-friendly strolls, and families will enjoy the playgrounds, boardwalk, and scenic views. While much of the area is fenced, pets must remain on-leash outside of the designated dog area.
For added convenience, the park features restrooms, pavilions, picnic tables, and a drinking fountain (note: sometimes this may be out of order). There are also spacious parking options in the shared lot with the nearby city rec center. Memorial Park is loved by locals for its peaceful, pet-friendly atmosphere, abundance of shade, and ample seating. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing picnic spot or a safe place for your pup to play, this park is a top pick for dog owners in Provo and the surrounding area.
Perfect location. Super beautiful for Charlie’s Virgil.
Gorgeous views with lots of space to play. Small playground, windy paved walking paths to walk or for kids on scooters.
Small, well kept, and nestled into the neighborhood, this is a fantastic park for people who would prefer a large lawn or garden.
The playset is small, with 2 slides and a pair of baby-only swings. Clean, but too hot to use in the sun. Designed for babies, and simultaneously inserted into a neighborhood, almost asking to be used unattended.
No restrooms, no pavilions, memorials abound and there is plenty of sitting space and a walking path that crosses the street twice.
Oh yeah, a street cuts through the center of the park.
A street with no wheelchair accessible ramps or dips in the curb.
The park is easy to get to, but like most parks, it is not close to a store or restaurant, or anything else useful, unless you happen to live in one of the homes that call it their front lawn. No matter how clean cut and apparently beautiful this park may be, its identity and purpose remain a mystery, even to itself.
Cute little park! Lots of shade and wide open spaces! Green grass is very pretty. Looking forward to going more as it heats up outside. Great location! The guns on display are really cool to see and want to go up closer next time I’m there to check them out better!
We absolutely love this park. It is relatively small, flat, there are an appropriate amount of trees. You could play soccer, frisbee, or football; anything requiring a large field, but you could also relax in a hammock (what we did). There isn’t really a parking lot, but we have never seen enough people to necessitate one. We will be returning!!!
