Located at 200 N Geneva Rd, Fort Utah Park offers a spacious, family-friendly setting in Provo, Utah. While not a dedicated dog park, it is a great spot to bring your four-legged friend for a walk. The park is known for its open green spaces, mature shade trees, and beautiful mountain views, making it an excellent option for pet owners looking for a pet-friendly place to relax or get some exercise. Local residents enjoy amenities like a playground, splash pad in summer, a baseball field, and a skate park—making it a versatile destination for the whole family. While there are plenty of open grassy areas suitable for playing with your dog (on-leash), dogs can enjoy exploring shaded spots and fields.
Dog owners should note that the park is not fenced for dogs, and there are no dedicated off-leash or separate small/large dog areas. Water fountains and waste bag stations for dogs are not clearly available, so visitors should plan ahead and bring their own water and cleanup supplies. There is a covered pavilion and benches for seating, open year-round, and restrooms for visitor convenience. Parking is ample except during school hours. Families will appreciate the variety of amenities and the pet-friendly atmosphere for enjoying time together outdoors in Provo.
Fantastic place to run. No homeless at this park but lots later on the trail so don’t run alone at night

I love Fort Utah park so much, as I often go there for my nephew’s baseball games.

A relic of days gone by, I presume this park was built pre Tony Hawk’s first 900. You know, before there were dedicated skatepark construction companies and cities just hired random builders to build what they think might be good for skating.
But there lies the charm. If you found any of these contraptions as part of a legit street spot it would be considered the best street spot around.
Alas, it’s not a street spot. It’s a skatepark. And it’s a bit rubbish, but still a bit fun.

Very cool skate park. Let the little ones okay around when no one was skating. They loved it. Good condition. It doesn’t feel like the safest area, so would suggest an adult stay with younger kids.
