Update… over the long holiday weekend… the park was full of activities
This is a wonderful Park where locals and neighbors do their daily walks and runs and picnic. They stroll with their dogs and you will meet many other happy dogs with their owners. It’s a friendly Park with lovely people. There is a children’s playground there is a workout space and on Thursday nights there is a farmers market and live music from Spring till fall
Great inner city space for a walk around the block, or just taking in some sunshine. With a children’s playground, bocce pits, chess tables, beautiful rows of trees, and benches, and lots and lots of grass.
Nice park, especially if you have dogs or kids. Cool statue, good view of the Armory, and exercise stations throughout. Also has a bocci ball court and chess/checkers boards on some of the tables. Great place to enjoy a day off.
Lovely small park with playground and tree-lined walking paths. Excellent location in the city near many historic neighborhoods in the West End of Providence. A few benches, but not many. Can get sketchy at different hours. But there is a nice farmer’s market on Thursday evenings here. Walking distance to several great restaurants and cafes. Parking on the perimeter.
