This park is a hidden gem in the heart of the city – a peaceful, tree-lined space stretching 1.5 miles end-to-end. Its length makes it perfect for a leisurely stroll, a brisk walk, or an out-and-back run. Flanked by quiet roads on either side, it feels more like a serene promenade than a bustling thoroughfare. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, attracting runners, walkers, strollers, and plenty of happy dogs.

One of the best features is watching the seasonal changes. The trees offer stunning displays year-round, from vibrant spring blossoms to fiery autumn leaves. The surrounding homes add to the park’s charm, showcasing some of the city’s most beautiful and unique architectural designs.

It’s a simple yet captivating space that offers a perfect mix of nature, community, and history. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a peaceful walk, admire the stunning homes, or just get some fresh air, this park is a must-visit.

1.5 mile linear park in a nice neighborhood. Street parking is easy, and the stroll is lovely especially in the fall.

This is by far one of my favorite places to go running or enjoy a long walk. The center median is a beautiful path through well maintained trees. There are so many different types of trees and they are all spaced apart well so that they take an open-grown shape versus forested. Numerous benches along the way, a few covered in case it rains. It’s well manicured and maintained. Highly recommend.
