Looking for a peaceful dog park in Prescott, Wisconsin? Magee Park offers pet-friendly trails and green spaces perfect for nature hikes with your furry friend. While it doesn’t have the classic fenced dog-park setup, it’s a hidden gem where local dog owners enjoy walking along natural paths surrounded by lush greenery. The area is particularly appreciated for its relaxing, folksy atmosphere and its suitability for quiet afternoons or winter walks.
Magee Park’s unique charm comes from its more rustic, undeveloped feel—expect taller grass, wild thorn trees, and the chance to spot local mosquitoes, so be sure to bring bug spray! Picnic tables offer a spot to relax or enjoy a snack. Although amenities are simple and there aren’t playgrounds or clear signage, visitors enjoy the opportunity to chill, hike, and explore with their dogs in this natural setting.
Great afternoon of winter nature hiking.

It’s beautiful but it is filled with thorn trees & mosquitoes. At the moment, it hasn’t been mowed so the grass is high on the trails & open areas.
