If you’re looking to come out here for fishing. This place is filled with algae and tall grasses. Makes it really hard to catch any fishes

It’s actually a real nice spot, entrance/exit for the rail trail. BUT BEWARE of the traffic almost no shoulder on the side you’ll be pulling in an always daily traffic being right next to DCC and a school bus depot.
An thx to that spot becoming a parking lot you can now safely to get Morgan Lake, for downtown Poughkeepsie the landscape is actually pretty nice.
Great spot for a pick nick too

It’s a gorgeous tourist attraction. Great for a walk with the family. Only downside is the overabundance of cyclists. Tired of having old men in spandex honk at me with their bikes. Literally no one likes them.
