Great trail!

Largemouth bass and sunfish are all over in the pond only problem is there’s a lot of vegetation in the water

I recommend parking at the Althouse Arboretum if you want to add your hike by about a mile. There is many spots to park, whereas this trailhead location has only 3 car spots.

Two ponds looks like the one pond has fish their is a sign that says catch and release fish. About 3 picnic tables, stream didn’t see a rest room. Saw some hockey nets next to the pond so I figure when its frozen people play hockey on the pond. The trail that runs through it connects with other parks I know it connects with the almshouse park I believe that is how you spell it. It isn’t real big I found it by accident never new it was their. I was looking for more but if you fish I guess it would be good. The houses are close and the parking lot is small might be able to squeeze in 3 small cars but it would be tight

Parking lot. Trails maintained fairly well. Turtles. Fishing permitted. Lots of birds. 2 ponds and sprawls run. Nice area for children
