An absolutely perfect place to start you trail walk. Plenty of parking. Extremely safe. There are bathrooms that are super nice and very clean.

Great trail to walk with a stroller or dog(s). Jumps from shade to sunny as you walk.

Nice place to park and jump on the new section of rail trail. There’s bathrooms with running water and a small covered area to hang out. Seems odd at first driving back here, and Exelon has a large section of the Lock gated with no trespassing signs.

The Schuylkill river trail is a really nice paved trail. We started at Frick’s Lock Trailhead so we could see some of the abandoned houses as well. The bathrooms were open (Feb 8, 2024)and very clean!

Nice little oasis on your biking journey. Clean restrooms! Nice pavilion for a snack or lunch break. Easy access of this trail head is your start/end point, or a pass through. Well done county community!
