As a dog trainer and business owner, it can be a challenge to find information and support, and it often feels a bit lonely trying to do everything on my own. I’m doing continuing education with Method K9 (almost complete with the Level 1 Cert.) and recently some business coaching, and all of my experiences with the team here have been amazing. I feel heard, supported, and have come away with new or polished concepts to implement with my own team, and within my business, that have truly made a difference for us.
I am the founder of Off-Leash K9 Training and Sit Stay Learn, and I’ve had the honor of hosting A&E’s America’s Top Dog. I travel the world working with some of the best trainers in the industry—but I can confidently say that Stephanie Vichinsky and the team at Method K9 are at the top of that list.
We just wrapped up a five-day aggression and reactivity seminar at Method K9 for Off Leash K9 Training and I brought out 30 of my trainers to learn from Stephanie. Every single one of them left absolutely blown away—not just by the depth of knowledge, but by the professionalism, structure, and hospitality we received. Hope, Karrie, Julius—the entire staff was incredible from start to finish.
I wholeheartedly endorse Stephanie and the Method K9 team. Whether it’s through their in-person seminars or their online programs, I’d recommend every trainer, no matter how seasoned, take every opportunity to learn from her.
Thank you to the entire Method K9 crew for an unforgettable experience. You’ve set the bar high.

Life changing. In the best way.
We adopted our boy Zuko at 2 years old. We were told he needed a home that would not crate him all day because his previous owner had kept him in a crate and drugged him to keep him quiet during the day. We were his 7th home after he was taken from that owner. We were told that he was great with other dogs.
We later discovered that he was reactive and aggressive towards dogs, people, anything that moved. Fast forward 4 years and we are basically prisoners in our own home, we didn’t take him out of the yard and didn’t let people come visit for everyone’s safety. By then he had bit our landlord, our best friend and our neighbor and attempted to bite many others. He was reactive towards cars and bikes and people passing by, so much so that we covered our beautiful windows and got grow lights for the plants.
Then we found Method K9 and all of our LIVES CHANGED! Hope did her thing and gave us hope that we could live the life we wanted with our boy. We were finally (after several training programs and experts promising they had the answers) given the tools to help our boy feel calm and safe.
If you have a reactive dog, you probably experienced them waking up first thing in the morning already at a level 7 or 8 and it only goes up from there. We could barely pet him, couldn’t safely brush him and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. 4 months after working with Hope in the Method K9 8 week program, I can confidently say he wakes up at a zero on the reactivity scale and stays there during the day. He is a much happier and more balanced dog and we have a happier, safer household. We take him places we never thought we could like the coffee shop and hardware store. HE CAN CALMLY RIDE IN THE CAR! We are looking forward to more adventures like camping and hiking when the weather clears.
What I can’t express enough is how important and thorough the tools are. The videos set us up for success when he came home. This is not magic (though it feels like it!) and as Stephanie says, he is still an alcoholic. It involves work and dedication but you are given the tools you need to continue the training at home. Hope is there to cheer you on and provide guidance when the training is over and the real work begins.
Method K9 changed our lives and most importantly, changed his life. Our boy is balanced and calm and very obviously happy and it makes my heart sing. Thank you Hope and Method K9! 10/10 would recommend!
I attended the train the trainer 1.0 and it was an incredible experience! Stephanie is unbelievably intelligent and her thirst for knowledge is evident. It is abundantly clear that she would never do anything less than her best and that includes educating. Her teaching style is easy to understand but goes in depth on subjects you may not think about in dog training. I had several light bulb (and sometimes emotional) moments during the 5 days of class. She is incredibly generous to share her gift with the world. In addition Julius, Hope, and Karrie round out the stellar team and they all made me feel welcome. I left the program feeling challenged and changed. Thank you for the opportunity and future opportunities to learn.
I recently attended the Train the Trainer 1.0 program in early November, and it was truly a transformative experience. Stephanie and her team go above and beyond to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Their passion for the work they do is evident, and their expertise is unique.
Over the course of five days at their facility, I gained so much knowledge in a short period of time. They truly exceed to ensure that each participant grasps the material and feels confident in applying it. The training was thorough, well-structured, and hands-on. Stephanie and Hope kept it very upbeat and engaging throughout the week. I appreciated the team’s commitment to ensuring that no question went unanswered. Stephanie is an excellent teacher, trainer, and person—very well-spoken, thorough, and incredibly effective in communicating her training concepts. Her team mirrors this level of excellence, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
The facility itself is well-organized, absolutely spotless, and the systems they have in place are something in itself to learn from. I want to give a big shout-out to Stephanie, Hope, Karrie, and Julius for their dedication and hard work. Thank you for such an amazing experience—I’m already looking forward to Train the Trainer 2.0!
If you’re considering this program, don’t hesitate—this is hands-down one of the best investments you can make in your career. I am so excited to apply everything I learned to better help the dogs we work with.
I’ve had an outstanding experience with Method K9 from the moment I reached out to inquire about their Train the Trainer program. Their customer service is exceptional—Karrie promptly contacted me to schedule a consultation, answered all of my questions, and took the time to walk me through every aspect of the program.
