Luuwit View Dog Park is a spacious, fenced, off-leash dog park located within a newly developed city park in Portland, Oregon. Known for its generous grassy expanse and panoramic views of Mt. St. Helens, this dog park provides a fantastic space for pups and their owners to run, play, and socialize. The pet-friendly park features dual gated entrances at the south-east and north ends, adding extra safety and convenience for park visitors. The park layout includes a mix of grassy and hard-packed gravel/sand surfaces, plus lovely tree clusters that offer some shade.
For your canine’s comfort, Luuwit View Dog Park supplies running drinking water at both entry points. While there are benches at one end of the park, please note that some may be broken or not well-maintained, and the park occasionally suffers from uncollected waste, so wearing closed-toe shoes is recommended. The adjacent city park features additional amenities, such as elaborate play structures and pet-friendly walking paths, making it a great spot for families and their four-legged companions.
Go for the Mt. St. Helen’s view and a stroll or picnic. Stay for the genuine, personable neighbors at the dog park if your pup needs some friends and off leash time!

I was disappointed that all the chairs were broken and there was a lot of dog feces all over. The park is overall pretty unkempt. I would suggest that anyone that goes makes sure to wear closed shoes so you don’t step in dog poop. Nice water area and there are benches to sit at one end of the park.

One of the best grass dog parks I’ve been to! Plenty of space and fully enclosed. The views are fantastic as well. Water at both entrances.
