Located on the east side of Alberta Park, the Alberta Unfenced Off-Leash Dog Park offers a spacious, pet-friendly haven for dogs and their owners in Northeast Portland. Nestled at 5520 NE 19th Ave, this dog park is known for its serene atmosphere, welcoming community, and expansive area covered with bark chips. The off-leash zone is conveniently bordered by short cement posts, making it easy to identify while being part of the park’s natural beauty.
Although this park does not have a fenced-in area, it’s considered one of the best off-leash dog parks in Portland. Friendly regulars and visitors from across the city flock here for its open space, shaded areas, and easy street parking along the park perimeter. While amenities are minimal and the ground is covered primarily with bark chips, the dog-friendly trails and lush green setting make it a comfortable and clean spot for both dogs and owners to socialize and enjoy the outdoors.

Best dog park we have been to in portland! Very friendly people and dogs.
Seems as tho the whole park is dog friendly. We met folks that drive from other parts of the city to relax with their dogs here.

Absolutely no reason to give this 3 stars when you write 500 words and post 19 pictures and provide no description of why it deserves a lackluster grade.
It’s nice, serene, has lots of space, is surrounded by street parking for maybe 80 cars. It’s a beautiful setting. Off leash area is demarcated by short cement posts. It is an off leash dog area, accessible, and clean. After this review, we will get it up to 4.0.
