Really love this park. Lots of big mature trees so there is plenty of shade, there’s a good playground for littles, and plenty of picnic tables. There are tennis courts which kids love to repurpose for short volleyball or soccer volleyball! Parking can be a little tricky on a a busy day and one of the roads is pretty busy, so keep an eye on your kids and dogs.

There is a heavy tree canopy, which is why I take my dog here during hot summer afternoons. This park has an unfortunate history of shootings, RV’s, and criminal activity (note: I’m not saying they are related). During daylight hours it’s family friendly with kids playing and picnics. Don’t let the bad press and social media deter you from visiting.
