If you’re searching for a spacious and pet-friendly outdoor area in Portland, OR, Glenfair Park is a hidden gem worth visiting. Located at NE Couch Ct & NE 154th Ave, this park features wide open grassy fields perfect for dogs to run and play off-leash. While there’s no fenced area, Glenfair Park is locally known for being a culturally accepted off-leash space, giving your pup room to roam while you relax or enjoy playing fetch. The park also offers a playground, picnic areas, and a baseball field, making it a great spot for families looking to let both kids and dogs have fun.
Shaded by a small grove of large fir trees, Glenfair Park has a few benches and a picnic table where visitors can rest. Though there’s no water fountain, restrooms, or dog waste bags provided, you’ll find a trash can available for easy cleanup. Its open design, cleanliness, and friendly community make Glenfair Park a laid-back and welcoming environment for dog owners in the Rockwood and NE Portland areas.
This is a very nice; ‘slightly’ secluded park off the beaten path. I would rate this 5 stars if the park had a drinking fountain and a Port-a-potty 😊

One of the few places in this area still super clean and nice. Great for throwing a ball for your pups or catching Pokémon with your kiddo after school.

Large open space, good for walks, and playing soccer. There definitely are spots that show that people do not pick up after their dogs. So be careful. There’s also a few spots with dips into the ground so also be careful with that. Otherwise it’s a cute park.

Beautiful rare wide open space in Rockwood to run your dogs. It’s culturally acceptable to be off leash despite signs. No provided bags but one trash can for disposal. Generally clean. No restrooms, 2 benches, 1 picnic table, small grove of large firs.

Located on NE 154th between Burnside, and Glisan, it’s a very open park. Lots of room for kids or dogs to run around. There is a baseball field on site, and a picnic area as well. The property is shared with Glenfair Elementry so there’s a big playground with basketball 🏀 hoops. This area should be limited to off school hours. I live next door and frequent the area regularly.
