Friendly place, bigger then it looks from the outside. They have really good food and it’s a nice relaxing atmosphere. You order from a qr code that brings you to the menu. Which allows you to open a tab and but a card down. But at the end you can still change it to cash and pay if you want. Having an open tab tho makes it easier to order if your outside or downstairs. I really enjoyed this hidden treasure in Portland.
Great service. Friendly and helpful.
Slightly underdone grilled cheese, but great chicken quesadilla. The pita and spinach dip combo was good – the pita was thick, soft, baked with garlic butter and just a bit crisped.
I appreciated their having half pint offerings for beverages on tap, not just pint. I liked the berry cider, which was not overly sweet.
Wish the full menu were printed out, but most of it is only available via QR code. I am still among those who process information better when I can see it all spread out before me rather than needing to retain the contents of lots of tiny menu pages on my phone. If you are just as happy to scroll and click, you will like this system.
Aptly named, ConFluxCity Brewing is directly across the street from the confluence of the Looking Glass and Grand Rivers. We visited these fine folks on a Saturday and found a table in the dog-friendly beer garden. We were pleased to learn that although we ordered via mobile device, table service was provided. What could be easier? The beers and food were top notch. My Cuban Sandwich was easily the best I’ve enjoyed in quite a while. The staff, and Tiffany in particular were very engaging and helpful. Parking is easy and clearly marked, so you have another reason to visit!
I’ve stopped by Confluxcity a couple times now, and it’s been pleasant during every visit. This time there was some nice live music in the main hall, but I stuck to trying a flight of beers in the tasting room. The beers are solid, and they have a decent variety on their menu. The staff was friendly, and the place has a comfortable, casual feel. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby wanting a beer.
Husband and I stopped here today while passing through. Stars are for friendly staff and clean comfortable environment. After a few samples, he ordered Runs Through Me Veins, and I ordered strawberry key lime jiggly juice seltzer cocktail. I think my drink only had the seltzer from the look and taste, so I asked our server if it was the flavor I ordered. She wasn’t sure so she brought me some of the syrup to add. Food was a wrap for him and pork tacos for me. Both of us had chips/salsa for the side. Not enough salsa for the chips and pork was dry. If we return we’ll just stick with the beer.
