My dogs came to the Bark Park for about 2.5 years and for a large portion of that time, we couldn’t say enough nice things (previous review below). However over time, I began to feel that the dogs were not being treated nicely or watched closely (not abused, but just not nice). I saw one handler forcefully push a dog who was jumping on her in a friendly way. I’ve seen them squirt dogs in the face with water to stop them from barking. I’ve seen all employees on staff hanging out inside of the building while the dogs were outside unattended (which is apparently okay according to policy). But we kept coming because my dogs seemed to like it…The final straw for me personally was when my dog saw me through the window after I arrived to pick him up and began barking. The handler who was outside, with her hands in her pockets, kicking snow, began to yell aggressively at my dog to be quiet instead of just looking up to see me waving through the window. I didn’t want to think my dogs were being screamed at for making noise. I was also very worried that with the lack of supervision that there is a good chance of an altercation happening at some point
between the dogs.

We love this place! Both our 5 year old Border Collie and 1 year old Golden seem to have a lot of fun and always come home very tired. The facility itself is nothing fancy, but true dog lovers won’t mind as it’s all about the dogs having fun! The play yard is HUGE and very natural which we appreciate. The price is also reasonable with NULL for both dogs to play for a very long full day. You can also really tell that the owner & staff really care about the dogs and they always recognize us as soon as we walk in the door. The one downside that someone might want to be aware of is that the dogs almost always come home dirty (or at least dusty) but we don’t mind because we think it’s a small price to pay for a day well spent! And if you call ahead before picking up they will try to hose down your dog the best they can.
Great place for puppy daycare! Dogs are not kenneled for the entire day, so my dog is happy to get out of the car to see his canine friends.
Meg, Logan and Mason are phenomenal caretakers to our pup, Charlie. Charlie has always struggled a bit with hyperactivity despite lots of training. However, the Bark Park team has never let his quirks and idiosyncrasies impact the consistency that they provide him a wonderful combination of structure and fun. They have always been so kind to him and my fiancée and I. The prices are beyond reasonable, and the care and attention to the dogs is clearly excellent. Cannot recommend enough!
The best place to find your new best friend!
We recently adopted from them. They did an amazing job and help so many find a new home. The staff were very friendly and informative through the whole process. Thanks for our new addition to our family.
The Bark Park had been an excellent resource over the years for our family. We have a busy family so having the resource to send our high energy dogs here for socialization and play time has been incredible. Meg and the team is so helpful and does a great job monitoring the pups behavior. We highly recommend both the dog park and daycare services! They’re awesome!
