Beautiful weather! Wife & I sat under the trees and watched the freighters go by. Watched people fish, bicycle, skate boarding, walking and jogging along the beautiful blue Huron River! The park is adjacent to the river.

Great park to visit year round, but especially during warm weather, as it’s near the lake and stays quite cool due to all the shady areas from large trees. It has paved and dirt paths, baseball fields, restrooms, a playground with slides, things to climb and swings, and it has a nice view of the lake with easy access to the walkway near there.

I view the waterfront and the bridges almost everyday but from the Canadian side. I decide to take a drive and see the opposite view! Such a beautiful park!!!

After visiting Thomas Edison’s Depot Museum, we headed over to Pine Grove Park and the Huron Lightship.

We arrived at the park and found a parking space and the first thing we noticed was the view.. WOW ! Very nice. When we got out of our vehicle directly in front of us was a chess table. Then there was the Huron Lightship and looking beyond was the Blue Water Bridge.

Then there was this huge boulder 🪨 to our left, so we stopped there to read the plaque. The plaque was to honor Thomas Edison’s childhood in the area.

As we headed towards the Huron Lightship, a lady sitting at a picnic table was feeding a seagull.

And last was the unique stairs with beautiful bright flowers as you headed down to the Lightship.
