Absolutely beautiful place, horse flies and mosquitoes are a bit terrible but otherwise I love walking these trails

nice trail. wide, flat, plenty of parking. easy for everyone to enjoy. ive seen turtles, squirrels, beavers, great blue heron, ducks, and canada geese out there. only gripe i have is despite several receptacles made available people don’t pick up after their dogs. it would be one thing if it was off to the side in the weeds but I see it a lot right in the middle of the trail. also be warned if you have a dog, I’ve seen quite a few dogs off leash there (which is not good for my dog)

My favorite place to get exercise always meet friendly people along the path and view various wildlife along the way ,sometimes when I haven’t been there in a while it’s like meeting an old friend I haven’t seen in a while
