Very nice nature reserve with an information filled nature center. There are locations in the nature center for kids too. In addition, there are hiking trails which are very pretty (the mosquitoes were very bad) and full of wildlife. I would like to visit this place in October when the leaves change colors.

Went to an awesome seminar this weekend on owsl, their habitat, their vocals, and how they hunt. Very interesting and the team that put it on was knowledgeable and fun.

Wonderful park. Was there for the lady slipper festival. 2 different trail, one shorter and a longer. Nice signal and maps throughout the trails. Great way to spend an afternoon

A nice loop trail in the woods where we heard many different birds and saw chipmunks, frogs, toads, salamanders, and a garter snake. Walking trails are nicely kept up and there are some alternate routes to take. There is a paved trail as well that we didn’t go very far on, but would be perfect for strollers or wheelchairs. Several species of trees are have identification markers. There looks to be a couple areas near the buildings where presentations can be made to a large audience. Worth visiting.

I was not expecting much from this place and we only went because it was a little too cold for the beach, but I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the trails. They have two different loops, the shorter of which was perfect for my toddler to walk on her own. The paths are paved so very accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, making it good for older people and little kids. There are lots of signs along the path with interesting information too. We will definitely come back and check out the longer trail another time. I’ve also heard from family members that the programs offered on certain Saturdays are great, so we may check those out sometime soon as well.
